The Chicago Bears kicked the hell out of the Dallas Cowboys on Thursday Night Football. Don't be fooled by the final score of 31-24. It was never that close. The Cowboys benefitted from a late touchdown and field goal to make it look better cosmetically. Chicago owned the game for the final three quarters, gashing their opponent on offense and slowing them down most of the night on defense. It was easily the most complete performance of the year for this team.
Apparently Cowboys fans didn't take it too well. As their team fell to 6-7, some of them exited the stands in the foulest of moods. One poor soul likely hyped up on booze, decided he was ready to pick a fight with anybody who decided to cross him. Unfortunately, he chose a couple of Bears fans that were more than ready to reciprocate and a brawl soon broke out. Suffice to say it didn't go well for the Cowboys fan.
When a video of the scuffle surfaced on Twitter, the fun really began. A couple of notable Bears players took notice and decided to comment. Kyle Long was the first to do so.
Per usual, Long's barbs are some of the best. However, he may have to take a back seat this time to Ha Ha Clinton-Dix. The Bears safety not only helped deliver the knockout to Dallas on the field, he fired off this gem off it.
Chicago Bears fans are a battle-tested bunch
The Cowboys aren't having a great year, but that fan should've reminded himself that the team is still in line to win the NFC East given how bad the rest of the division is. Instead he went looking for a fight. Boy did he ever find one. Bears fans weren't about to let him ruin their night. They've endured plenty of ugly moments this year. If this guy planned to ruin it for them, then he'd have to be put in his place. The commentary from Bears players just makes that much better.
