The Chicago Bears defense is already immensely grateful to the Oakland Raiders for willingly trading them Khalil Mack. There's is no way they could ask the same team to send them more help at this point. Well, sometimes the good fortune just keeps flowing after the first cut has been made. Weeks after shipping out Mack, the Raiders made yet another puzzling decision.
Given their team only has seven sacks in eight games to this point, it would be considered wise for them to not unload anymore pass rushers, right? Welp. Jon Gruden doesn't play by normal rules it seems. After an embarrassing 34-3 pasting at the hands of the San Francisco 49ers, the team decided to part ways with veteran defensive end Bruce Irvin.
What makes it all the more confusing is that Irvin was responsible for three of those seven sacks they have.
