When I took a closer look at the new uniform teaser video, I noticed something that was pretty interesting. It looks like the new uniform will feature a black sweater with feather colors on the sleeves.Iconic. Where Will The New Uniform Be Available?
As of right now, it looks like this new black alternate uniform will only be available in the EA Sports video game, NHL 19. The Blackhawks' Twitter account confirmed this when they responded to my tweet earlier today.Although this black alternate uniform will only be used in NHL 19, it is still pretty cool. As a long-time NHL video game fan and a fan of the Blackhawks, I am definitely feeling the nostalgia effect here.this is not a real #Blackhawks jersey, this is ONLY available on @EASPORTSNHL #NHL19

Previous Blackhawks' Black Alternate Uniforms
The Blackhawks have had some really cool black alternates throughout their history. They have all been fan favorites for the most part. An alternate hasn't been used since 2011 when the team used the 2009 Winter Classic uniform as their alternate. [caption id="attachment_114893" align="aligncenter" width="576"]

Before using the 2009 Winter Classic uniform, the Blackhawks previously wore another black sweater with red and white stripes from 1996-2008.

The Blackhawks also wore a black uniform in the 2014 Stadium Series, which was basically the exact same as the black alternate that was worn from 1996-2008 with some minor changes.
