In case people forgot. It's hard to beat the Green Bay Packers. Even when the Chicago Bears have managed to do it, the games always have come down to the wire. Odds are if they're going to pull the upset at Lambeau Field on Sunday night, they'll need somebody to step up in the fourth quarter when the team absolutely has to have it. Enter Khalil Mack.
Thus far they haven't found the people capable of doing that. Too often the Packers take over the game in the second half and push it out of reach. That narrative may be changing though. Mitch Trubisky already flashed some late-game prowess at times last year, but the real clutch man might be their newest kid on the block.
People have tried to explain exactly what the Bears are getting in the 27-year old pass rusher. Hall of Fame running back Terrell Davis wanted to make it clear for everybody. Being a former champion himself, he wants to see how guys play when the game is on the line. So he did some digging into relevant numbers on Mack.
His findings were astounding.
