Matt Nagy has it pretty rough these days. Not only did he lose his fifth straight game on Sunday against Baltimore despite playing against a backup quarterback, but it ended with Chicago Bears fans serenading him with "Fire Nagy" chants. Just 24 hours later, those same calls popped up during a game between the Chicago Bulls and Indiana Pacers. It is becoming evident that the head coach has completely lost the fans.
Now it seems some supporters are beginning to use that against his family. Nagy was in attendance for a high school playoff game between Lake Forest and Cary-Grove. A game his son was playing in. At one point in the 2nd quarter, the student section of the stands suddenly broke out with "Fire Nagy" chants. It was about as tasteless and unnecessary as you'd expect. Par for the course for high school students. Credit to Cary resident Matt Allen for snagging video of the incident.
