Carter Jr. who was drafted with the 7th pick in the 2018 draft has shown promise this year. He plays a hard styled defensive game and with due time his offensive game will start to improve.
This is a huge hit to the Bulls young core who already has struggled to play on the court together. Zach Lavine, Lauri Markkanen, and Kris Dunn have all missed time this year, hurting the team's development and chemistry. At this point, I would just sit Carter for the rest of the season. Let him get the proper healing he needs and come back stronger next year.
