Sooooooo, Kyle Schwarber is currently in the best stretch of his career and it's been more than a month since he's gotten red-hot for the Cubs. It started with his two-HR, 7-RBI game on July 28, against the Brewers and Schwarber kept it going Thursday night in Milwaukee too.
The Cubs left fielder went 2-for-3 with a double and a glorious grand slam Thursday night at Miller Park, breaking the game wide open in the sixth.
Hey, look at that, Schwarber hit another bomb off a lefty. Oh and with one swing he also outscored the Bears, who lost 10-3 against the Packers to begin their season on Thursday night.
Schwarber now has 34 home runs this season and that was his second grand slam of 2019, both coming in Milwaukee.
And don't look now, but the Cubs have now won six straight road games.
